Kim Victoria Cattrall is an American-born actor from Canada born July 21st, 1956. Her most famous character was Samantha Jones, in the HBO Series Sex and the City. Sex and the City earned the actress five Emmy Award nods and received four Golden Globe Award noms. In 2002, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. The character was reprised for two of the Sex and the City films (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2009). Her leading roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. Kim Cattrall will be remembered for her portrayal of Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. Cattrall is an established actress whose portrayal Samantha Jones in the popular TV show Sex & The City was a turning moment in her career. This was more than popular with viewers within her country of birth, but it also led to her becoming a world-renowned superstar. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known performance was from the film comedy drama La Dolce Vita. It won an Oscar and the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival in 1960. The film was also critical and commercially popular and critically acclaimed. Born in Sweden in the city of Skane, she had a career as a fashion model prior to her acting profession. She ultimately won her first prize in the Miss Sweden Contest. After she left Sweden for the US and appeared in numerous films in minor roles, her career took off. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was recognized as a Venusian. The first role she was credited with was in the film Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in which she played a Venusian guard.
